Be among the first to see Astra Papachristodoulou’s debut solo exhibition of visual poems, which take the form of sculptures, objects and textiles.

Part of You Belong Here

Making Poetry presents works across a wide range of materials and techniques, including beeswax letter transferring, protest banner poetry, bio-resin sculptures and poetry games.

Papachristodoulou’s object poems encourage interactive and shared participatory experiences, and present alternative ways for poetry to exist today. New commissions as part of You Belong Here celebrate luminary figures from Greek culture including Simias of Rhodes and Dimitra of Lesbos.

The works in this show experiment with the overlap of the visual and the verbal, foregrounding feminine multiplicity, activism and creativity as play.
