Our step-free route maps show you the best routes to take from nearby transport hubs and car parks to our venues, while our own Access Map includes a helpful floor-plan of our buildings.
How to use the step-free route maps
To get the best experience from these maps and navigate the easiest step-free access routes to Southbank Centre, please follow these instructions:
- zoom into the maps using the + and – buttons for a closer view of the route
- view detailed instructions on how to follow the route by selecting the top left icon on each map
- open a larger version in Google Maps by selecting the top right icon on each map.
Getting around our buildings
Our Access Map includes a floor plan of each of our buildings, and details step-free access routes and other access provisions.

Step-free routes from car-parks
National Theatre car park to the Royal Festival Hall
Please be aware that when the National Theatre building is closed (on Sundays, and on days without performances) there is no step-free access from their car park. Check with the National Theatre directly before travelling by emailing boxoffice@nationaltheatre.org.uk or calling call 020 7452 3961.
